Akemi Homura 2015

I felt like it'd been a while since I've done any decent digital work.

For a long time I've been struggling with the inconsistent quality of said digital work. It really annoys me that I can get worse results on a 40hr piece than on a 10hr piece. I'd been thinking part of the issue was that I had different processes for doing different flavors of digital coloring (ie something with a cell-shaded quality vs something with a painted quality). Switching from OpenCanvas to CS2 some time ago didn't really help on that front either.

Thus I've been trying to come up with a process such that I can generate pieces of all of these flavors in the same way. Hopefully this will address part of the quality issue as well. This Akemi Homura 2015 is the first decent thing to come out of these experiments; it is pretty much a direct remake of the same from 2011.

I found out about the airbrush tool in PS too. It's really cool.
